Summary of all domains for Models and Computers

This table lists all active domain names which exist under this VISP, along with the client and customer accounts (if any) that the domains are owned by.

Where the client or customer fields are blank, this indicates that the domain is at client level (if customer is blank) or VISP level (if client is blank).

'Clients' are sometimes known as 'Groups'. Customers are end-users.

Access Control: For any domain under your VISP, you can control whether that domain is available to just its owning customer, or the entire Group it is in, or indeed all customers of your entire VISP. When users other than the owning customer have access to a domain, it means they can create email addresses, and subdomains, of that domain. You can use this facility to enable multiple staff members of a company you have as a customer to all have access to the same domain(s), but putting all of those users into a specific group, and then granting access to the domains(s) in question to that group.

Renewal Dates: If an incorrect renewal date is showing for a domain, for example if the date shown is in the past, go to the "System Tools" menu at the top of the screen and use the "Domain Whois" function to do a Whois lookup on the domain in question. This will force an update of the stored renewal date and should correct the problem, the display will update within 24 hours with the new data.
